Theres no place like home...until you lose it

We are trying to help out a colony of prairie dogs right here in the middle of Lakewood. The land they have called home for easily 50 years is scheduled for development and if they are not rescued will die a painful, horrible death by poison. If you have never had a chance to observe priarie dogs you have missed out. They are both funny and adorable.

I guess the City of Lakewood will not rest until every piece of land has structures blocking the beautiful views. Build, Build, Build! Despite many buildings and outlets that are and have remained empty!
